The GAMSAT Consortium offers an on-line application and matching system for domestic applicants to Australian graduate-entry medical schools. GEMSAS increased the number of preferences available for applicants to medical schools from three to six, and provides a more equitable and transparent allocation process. GEMSAS also manages applications for the University of Melbourne Dentistry and Optometry courses.
Applications for Medicine, Dentistry and Optometry are closed for the 2021 intake.
For current Medicine applicants, interview offers: All successful and unsuccessful emails have been sent.
The GEMSAS schools have considered options to change GPA/WAM, recognising the impact of COVID-19 on 2020 study. Some schools have made changes to the inclusion of 2020 results in GPA/WAM calculations. See Admissions guides and Addendum for details.
Due to the pandemic, further changes may be necessary. Please check the universities website for updates.
